A bygone era

This is my daughter a couple years ago while we were in Kentucky. We were once again staying at our favorite B&B - The Victorian House. The owner has all these old dresses, hats and props that she uses at her luncheons she serves at the B&B. We had a grand afternoon one day taking pics with the stuff.
Looks like something from Gone with the Wind, doesnt it?

Spring has sprung

With the pollen count at an all time high of 3900,

its good to see some can still enjoy lounging around outside. :)

Good Cat Bad Cat

We were walking through boutiques in England and came across a nice Art gallery. I should have known better than to go inside. Then I saw them - The Twins. I know, I know. I shouldnt have - but I couldnt resist! The thought of owning a very unique art sculptor from England, well I gave into temptation. Bad cat took over. :)

They are actually two sep pieces and fit together perfectly to form one. They are also extremely heavy and it was quite an ordeal to pass them through airport security and carry them around the airports!

You will Always be remembered

We lost our little Kirby today. We came home this evening to find that she had passed away at only 7 months old - no signs of illness whatsoever. She had never even been outside.

The vet said it was more than likely a heart complication, which according to her is more common than one would think. We should know more in a week or so.

I am beside myself. I just cant believe this has happened. My sweet Kirby. Always so full of life and willing to play and lived to be loved. My sweet baby girl. I will miss & love you always.
